We are looking for an experienced HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category) Medical Coder to join our remote team.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Risk Adjustment coding, ICD-10-CM guidelines, and CMS HCC models. You will be responsible for reviewing medical records, identifying chronic conditions, and accurately coding diagnoses to support risk adjustment and compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing outpatient and inpatient medical records
Assigning accurate ICD-10-CM codes with a focus on HCC conditions
Ensuring coding accuracy, compliance, and documentation standards
Working with providers or QA teams to resolve coding queries
Maintaining productivity and quality benchmarks
This is a fully remote position. Candidates with proven HCC coding experience are highly preferred.
