About the Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Go-to-Market (GTM) Program Manager to lead the growth and operational execution of learning products and programs for MeeOpp in the United States. This is a contract, hourly position for a self-directed operator who thrives with real ownership and excels at working autonomously while staying in sync with remote teams and leadership direction.
You will be the primary point of accountability for program delivery in the US, working closely with our core team based in Hong Kong. You will also be a point of contact for new opportunities for MeeOpp in the US and may need to travel on-site to meet with prospective clients in a business development capacity. Success in this role means programs run smoothly with operational excellence, proactively identifying risks and solving problems by collaborating with teams in Hong Kong as needed, and working with MeeOpp’s leadership to manage stakeholders and think strategically about how to grow the business in the US. Flexibility and adaptability are a strong plus for this role.
This role reports to one of the Founders and Co-CEOs of MeeOpp. You will also work closely with other cross-functional leaders at the company. You will act as the first point of contact for other US team members who are executing on programs with an opportunity to grow into a team manager role.
What You'll Own
- GTM for MeeOpp products and programs in the US, working closely with MeeOpp leadership to define and execute business development opportunities
- End-to-end operational delivery of MeeOpp evidence-based products and programs across US clients, from planning through execution and close-out
- Coordination and communications with US-based clients and participants, serving as an escalation point for customer support as needed
- Hiring, onboarding, and management of MeeOpp Communication Coach and Customer Success contractors in the US, including coordination of schedules and logistics, collaborating with the Customer Success and Communication Coach leaders in Hong Kong to manage performance and ensure operations run smoothly
- Keeping programs on track by building program schedules, logistics, and workflows
- Attend weekly meetings to sync with the Hong Kong core team to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
- Proactive identification and resolution of operational issues and risks, collaborating with teams in Hong Kong, which may include Technology, Customer Success, Marketing, and others
- Reporting on program status, risks, and outcomes in a clear, consistent format
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years of project or program management experience with a track record of owning outcomes end-to-end, not just executing tasks
- 2+ years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy and/or Business Development
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in a distributed team environment, making sound decisions without constant oversight
- Experience managing programs that involve external participants: students, clients, or partner organizations
- Comfort working across time zones; experience collaborating with teams in Asia is a plus
- Familiarity with education or learning programs is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and communication skills: you document well, communicate proactively, and don't let things fall through the cracks
- Calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and accountable
Logistics
- This role is fully remote and US-based
- This is a contract engagement paid on an hourly basis
- The pay for this position will be $45-75 USD/hour, depending on experience
- Around 20-30 hours/week expected with some variation (e.g. more time will be required during new program initiation with less time required during typical program operations)
- There may be an opportunity for this role to transition to a full-time position as the company grows
- Hours will vary by program cycle; expect higher intensity during program launch and delivery periods
- Some overlap with Hong Kong business hours will be required for team syncs each week (typically evenings US time, mornings HK time)
- You must be authorized to work in the United States: we are not able to sponsor work visas for this position now or in the future
