We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented accountant who can speak German for a remote position. This role requires a medium-high level of precision and expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and budget management. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of our financial documents, complying with legal standards and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions and ensure timely financial closures.
- Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies regarding all financial functions.
- Perform tax planning and prepare tax returns according to regulations in German-speaking regions.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Enhance financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
- Proficiant in German, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
