Why This Role

We’re expanding our existing team of two systems engineers in Portugal! This role is essential to scaling our infrastructure reliably, securely, and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple regions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters, supporting a containerized environment at scale.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for all deployments.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) for streamlined, automated delivery.
  • Set up and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack) for performance and alerting.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to propose and validate technical designs.
  • Proactively address system security, monitoring, and reliability in production environments.
  • Collaborate effectively in English across a remote, multicultural team.

Main requirements

Requirements

  • 2+ years of DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud (GCP), including GKE.
  • Strong understanding of Terraform and infrastructure automation.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD systems and Git workflows.
  • Experience with Python or Bash scripting for infrastructure tasks.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and cloud security principles.

Nice to have

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with the Elastic Stack (ELK).
  • Advanced Python scripting.
  • Experience in digital advertising or media tech environments.
