Full Stack Software Developer fixed price

We are seeking a freelance programmer to help us resolve an issue with our application server. The task involves diagnosing and fixing an issue that has arisen after the expiration of our free SendGrid plan. The application has started crashing when specific actions are taken, and we suspect the issue is related to SendGrid's API. This position is for a one-time fix, but may lead to further freelance opportunities depending on performance and future needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve the application crashes that started after the expiration of the SendGrid free plan.

• Disable the SendGrid email platform and implement a workaround using the native Linux mail app to send a very limited number of monthly emails.

• Perform the fix directly on the Production server (test server not available).

• Ensure no disruption to current application functionality while implementing the fix.

Skills:

• Experience with Linux (Ubuntu), Node.js, Jade/Pug, MySQL, and Bitbucket/Git.
• Proficient with debugging and troubleshooting issues related to email communication platforms (especially SendGrid or similar services).
• Experience with server configurations, particularly in terms of upgrading software and debugging errors.
• Familiarity with APIs (ex. SendGrid, AWS) on Linux-based systems.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision.
