Fractional CTO — Technology & ERP Lead

Lyfe Hardware (C&B Designs) is a fast-growing US-based premium architectural hardware brand, designing and manufacturing products like curtain systems, door handles, and custom hardware. We operate globally with teams across India, the Philippines, and the US, and sell via Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, and Wayfair.
We are hiring a Fractional CTO to lead our technology strategy and ERP ecosystem as we scale.
This is a technology leadership role, not a coding role. You will own technology strategy, ERP systems, and developer management—ensuring all systems work as a unified, scalable ecosystem.
ERP Strategy & Management
- Own end-to-end ERP strategy (selection, implementation, optimization)
- Lead ERPNext/Frappe implementation (preferred)
- Map business processes (manufacturing, inventory, procurement, sales, finance)
- Define workflows, BOM integration, and system structure
- Manage developers/vendors, ensure quality and timelines
Technology Architecture & Integrations
- Audit current tech stack and define scalable roadmap
- Oversee integrations: Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, Wayfair ↔ ERP
- Ensure data flow across design (SolidWorks), manufacturing, ERP, and ecommerce
- Define technical requirements and review architecture decisions
Business & Technology Alignment
- Identify process gaps and drive automation
- Translate business needs into tech solutions
- Advise founders on tech decisions (build vs buy)
- Define data strategy for reporting and decision-making
Must Have
- 8–12 years in tech leadership / systems / architecture
- Proven ERP implementation or management experience
- Experience managing developers/tech teams
- Strong understanding of operations, inventory, manufacturing, finance
- Startup/growth-stage experience
- Strong communication & ownership mindset
ERPNext / Frappe (Preferred)
- Experience implementing or managing ERPNext
- Knowledge of modules: Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, Sales, Accounts
Good to Have
- Shopify ecosystem & API integrations
- ERP + ecommerce integrations
- Python/Frappe exposure
- Automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n)
- D2C / manufacturing background
- Data & dashboards / BI
