- Manage dispatch software systems and oversee driver activities on assigned loads.
- Ensure carrier and driver compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
- Perform diligent checks to guarantee the safety and security of each dispatch order.
- Handle daily reporting of dispatch activities.
- Facilitate over-the-road breakdowns, accidents, weather delays, and
- other route exceptions.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
- Respond to incoming emails, chat inquiries, and new business inquiries.
- Provide general support to all customers and coordinate with carriers to ensure positive driver feedback.
- Confirm orders are delivered on time and resolve any issues proactively.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Proficient with computers and multiple software applications
- Previous experience with OptimoRoute or similar route optimization tools is a plus.
- High attention to detail and ownership of work quality.
