TeenUp is an emotional AI and education ecosystem for families, backed by top-tier VCs including Iterative and Acumen. As we expand our footprint in the Philippines, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations professional who is currently residing in the Philippines to act as our strategic bridge.
As the Country Operations Manager, you will be the "Mini-CEO" on the ground, ensuring our Student-First mindset is localized effectively while maintaining a seamless connection with our Vietnam Headquarters.
YOUR ROLE:
- Infrastructure & Compliance: Lead the "Zero-to-One" phase, including local recruitment, remote team onboarding, and ensuring alignment with local Philippine labor laws.
- Academic Quality: Own KPIs for student attendance and parent satisfaction (CSAT) across the PH market.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of local Filipino mentors, ensuring culturally sensitive and high-impact delivery of our programs.
- Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between Vietnam HQ and the local team, translating global strategy into local action.
- Problem Solving: Resolve operational friction points and foster a high-performance startup culture.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Location: Must be currently residing and legally working in the Philippines.
- Language: Native-level Vietnamese and Professional English are mandatory. (Fluency in Tagalog is a significant advantage).
- Experience: 3–5+ years in Operations Management, Project Management, or Academic Leadership (EdTech, BPO, or Startup experience is a plus).
- Skills: Expert in remote collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Zoom) and a data-driven mindset.
- Market Knowledge: Practical understanding of the Philippine recruitment landscape and school systems.
