The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing all legal activities, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and providing legal advice across the organization. • Legal Strategy: Develop and implement legal strategies to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and oversee a wide variety of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to minimize the company's exposure.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure the company adheres to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including employment laws, data protection, and industry-specific regulations.
• Litigation Management: Manage all legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations, working with external counsel as necessary.
• Corporate Governance: Oversee corporate governance, ensuring compliance with board meeting protocols, regulatory filings, and shareholder agreements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal departments, senior management, clients, vendors, and external legal advisors on legal matters.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the legal team, providing guidance and ensuring efficient workflow across all legal matters.
• Advisory Role: Provide timely legal advice and support to senior management and other departments on a variety of legal issues, including contracts, intellectual property, and employment law.
• Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update internal policies and procedures to align with legal and regulatory changes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or a related field; Master’s in Law (LLM) is a plus.
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, contracts management, compliance, and litigation.
• Proven experience in legal risk management and providing legal advice in a business context.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Operations: Manage all company departments and operations, working closely with all departments
• HR: manage all HR hiring, contracts, interviews, and all legal accepts of the HR process
