The primary responsibility of the Business Development Specialist is to make B2B outbound sales calls to prospective clients (offering janitorial and other building maintenance services), qualify prospects, and schedule appointments for our sales team.

  1. Find and research businesses that would benefit from City Wide's services.
  2. Make minimum of 250 of sales calls per week to prospective clients.
  3. Schedule qualified appointments for City Wide’s outside sales team
  4. Manage and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, including – scheduled calls, updated client records, notes from each call and appointments set.
  5. Prepare accurate reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis as defined by management.
  6. Achieve or exceed monthly activity and lead generation metrics to achieve revenue targets as set by management.
  7. Send all City Wide information requested by prospects along with thank you notes and follow-up letters whenever appropriate.
  8. Other duties as necessary

Key Metrics

  1. Set 8 - 12 appointments per month
  2. Complete 80-100 Activities of Calls and Emails (per day)
  3. Maintain appointment ratio of 15-25% (Booked appointments / Decision-makers reached)

Compensation includes base salary plus commission for appointments set and closed deals.
