Bookkeeper with QBO, AR, and AP experience full time

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper for our Home Services (plumbing and HVAC) company. Must have significant experience with QBO and have excellent Google Sheets skills. This is a long term opportunity.

Responsibilities:

A/R and Collections:

  • Monitor invoice aging, send invoice reminders, and resolve collection issues.

  • Call customers to resolve invoice issues.

  • Manage collection process

Invoicing:

  • Support our customer success team with invoicing.

AP:

  • Classify credit card transactions

  • Upload bills to our AP system (Ramp)

  • Match material bills to specific jobs (requires regular interaction and calls with our team)

  • Maintain spreadsheet with materials and subcontract cost

Payroll:

  • Help process employee timecards

Quickbooks:

  • Match/Classify bank account transaction

  • Reconcile bank transaction records.

  • Perform a monthly close process

Requirements:

  • QBO: Several years of experience using Quickbooks Online

  • Accounting: Knowledge about accounting principles, including double entry accounting and how journal entries work

  • Customer Service: Comfortable speaking to customers on the phone to resolve A/R issues

  • Expert-level experience using Google Sheets and/or Excel

  • Experience with Home Services software such as Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan is preferred

Other:

  • Must be comfortable using Hubstaff time tracking

  • Greater than 50% of your availability must fall within PST time zone business hours
