You will be the bridge between JMO’s strategic marketing engine and our client’s world-class hospitality, identifying and securing long-term partnerships with corporations, government agencies, and non-profits.

Role Summary

The B2B Partnership Specialist is responsible for the full lifecycle of partnership development—from "deep-dive" market research to initial outreach and relationship nurturing. You will not just be creating new partnerships; you will be analyzing organizational needs to position our clients as the essential partner for corporate galas, large-scale conferences, and recurring regional meetings.

Compensation Structure

As a B2B Partnership Specialist, your starting monthly base salary will range between $1,600.00 to $2,000.00 per month, plus commission based on verifiable experience. Note on Training: The starting base salary averages $1,600.00 per month plus commission for candidates with verifiable experience. JMO provides on-the-job training opportunities for select candidates, but the starting base salary is adjusted during the 30-day training period.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Prospecting & Analysis

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough research to identify high-potential B2B clients, including Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, and government contractors.
  • Pain Point Discovery: Analyze prospective partners' event histories and organizational structures to identify how our clients can solve their logistical or budgetary challenges.
  • Market Mapping: Maintain a pipeline of stakeholders and decision-makers, utilizing tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and industry databases.

2. Relationship & Partnership Development

  • Customized Outreach: Develop tailored, high-touch communication strategies to engage C-suite executives and event planners.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Work closely with the JMO Communications team to align outreach with broader marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
  • Lead Qualification: Vet potential partners to ensure a high-quality fit for our clients venues and service capabilities.

3. Reporting & Strategy Optimization

  • Data Enrichment: Provide detailed research briefs to the executive team prior to high-stakes meetings.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of different outreach channels and research methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3–5 years in B2B business development, partnership management, or high-level sales support (Hospitality or Event Industry experience is a major plus).
  • Research Expertise: Ability to perform "deep dives" into company financials, news, and leadership structures to find the "hook" for a partnership.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong professional writing skills and the ability to articulate value propositions clearly to sophisticated corporate audiences.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 and experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Core Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: You don't just find a contact; you find a reason for the partnership.
  • Resourcefulness: You are an expert at navigating gatekeepers and finding the information needed to move a project forward.
  • Resilience: You thrive in a role where persistence and creative problem-solving are required to open doors.

How to Apply

If you are a proactive professional who loves the thrill of the "hunt" and the satisfaction of building lasting professional relationships, we want to hear from you.

To apply: Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing a specific example of a successful partnership you developed through thorough research and strategic outreach.
