Role Summary
The Automation & Process QA Specialist will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced automations, API integrations and complex project management workspaces. This is done on tools such as N8N, GoHighLevel, ClickUp, Monday, Trello, Asana, tag managers, Make, Agent, Conversational bots/agents and more.
This role involves close collaboration with the Operations team to map out existing processes, identify where automation can remove manual bottlenecks, and take ownership of quality review — evaluating whether completed work actually meets requirements, not writing or debugging code.
The ideal candidate is a strong systems thinker who has mastered ClickUp as a project management tool and n8n for automations, communicates clearly, and can be trusted to independently judge whether a deliverable matches what was asked for.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation workflows in n8n across internal tools and client systems
- Build and manage GoHighLevel (GHL) automations, including pipelines, triggers, and integrations
- Map out and document existing manual processes, then propose and implement automated alternatives
- Take ownership of task and deliverable reviews — assessing whether completed work matches the original requirements and flagging gaps (not performing the coding/technical fix yourself)
- Manage, structure, and optimize workflows inside ClickUp and Monday at an advanced/administrative level
- Troubleshoot broken or underperforming automations and identify root causes
- Collaborate with the Operations team to conceptualize new processes before they're built
- Document all automations and processes clearly for team-wide visibility and continuity
- Communicate proactively via Slack on progress, blockers, and review findings
