Overview
We are a growing [industry type, e.g., outsourcing/recruitment/finance] company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Virtual Assistant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and experience working with accounting tools/software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and record daily financial transactions (income, expenses, invoices, receipts).
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable management.
- Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Support with payroll processing and compliance documentation.
- Communicate with clients/vendors regarding billing and payments.
- Perform other administrative and finance-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant, Bookkeeper, or Virtual Assistant in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
