The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health of the organization by tracking transactions, analyzing financial data, and supporting decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements
Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures
Conduct audits and resolve discrepancies
Prepare tax returns and ensure timely tax payments
Support management with financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience in accounting or financial management
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Excel)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
