Besides taking notes during meetings, other duties may include editing website pages, preparing and editing diagrams, editing images, preparing documentation, project management, data entry, data analysis, general research, grant writing, copywriting, general internet research, taking notes from lecture videos for research, assisting our webmaster, developers, and interns with various tasks, and other miscellaneous duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Understanding of health related science and AI research tools are a plus but not required, particularly if you have a solid academic background in a natural science related field. You must have excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. You'll also need to be punctual, detail oriented, and be able to follow verbal and written directions, communicate, manage expectations, work independently, take and organize meeting notes, adjust according to feedback, while being able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. In addition, you'll also need a reliable internet connection, electricity, and have the ability to communicate verbally via Skype or Google Hangouts.

HOURS

You set your own hours as long as you can attend scheduled morning or evening meetings. We prefer candidates who can work full-time but we will consider those who can only work part-time (at least 20 hours per week). This is potentially a long term position for the right candidate, depending upon performance. This means you spend more time earning money and less time searching for your next job.

COMPENSATION

This position offers a fixed hourly rate that is equivalent to $430 monthly for full-time work. This compensation is non-negotiable and has been established based on our project budget constraints and past contractors, some of whom have worked for ExRx.net for 11, 9 and 6 years.

APPLICATION

In order for us to assess if you can communicate effectively, follow written instructions, and pick up on details, you will be asked to answer a series of questions before we consider scheduling an interview. This means you'll need to apply here through Hubstaff Talent. To be considered, we'll also need a writing sample of your academic style writing with sources cited and referenced. If providing links to your samples, please make certain that they are accessible without us having to request access.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

We value transparency in our hiring process. Please note that we can only consider candidates who explicitly acknowledge and accept the stated compensation rate when answering the final question. While we respect that this rate may not align with everyone's financial requirements, our budget parameters are firm. Applications requesting higher compensation will not be considered for this role.

Also, only apply if you are willing to take the time to thoughtfully respond to each question below with a meaningful reply. How you answer these questions is our first impression of how well you can follow directions and pay attention to details, which is essential for this job.
