BUSINESS REQUIREMENT
QuickBooks is an accounting software package developed and marketed by Intuit. QuickBooks is
by far the top accounting software provider among American businesses with millions of users
and estimates of around 85-90% of the business accounting market.
The primary focus of our customer is to find a way how to integrate QuickBooks data to be
imported into Dynamics CRM 365 instance. They require a solution which covers capabilities of
importing transactions manually as well as automatically into CRM and should also be able to
classify transactions into CRM.
OUR SOLUTION
Prompt Softech has developed two kinds of solutions to fulfil the mentioned requirements.
CRM Solution
First one is the CRM solution in which CRM users are provided with options to import transactions
from Excel sheet into Dynamics CRM.

Map QuickBooks records with CRM fields
Able to create/apply rules which automatically sets following fields depending on a
range of criteria:
o Grant
o Transaction Type
o Budget Category
o Source Allocations

Quick Book Desktop App
The second one is a kind of configurable Windows Application. The app will run as a background
service on client’s machine. After doing proper configuration, the app pulls QuickBooks Desktop
data into Dynamics CRM instance.
