case study Consumer Services PYCK Eco-Friendly Laundry Company Building a cross-platform mobile application for a laundry service from scratch that supports English and Portuguese languages. Client Pyck is an eco-friendly company that offers simple, reliable, and fast laundry service. It washes and folds clothes using environmentally friendly solutions to responsibly and positively influence the world. Challenge Since the client had no technical background, the KnubiSoft team was requested to build automation of a cross-platform application from scratch. The order process of the app should have included scanning the QR code located on the branded bag. After finishing the washing services, the laundry staff should have had the possibility to indicate the time and place where the client can pick up the things. The option to evaluate the services after completing the order and getting an invoice by email was also on the list of requirements. Our Solution We created an application with simple and convenient functionality available for users in English and Portuguese. A developed solution allowed clients to scan the QR code located on the branded bag and monitor every step of the order on the smartphone: requesting the necessary service, providing the most convenient drop-off point, evaluating the services after completing the order, getting invoices by email, and many more. 
 We worked on the admin panel for laundry personnel, where they could fully manage order statuses, add and change discounts, new cities, points, working hours, and service prices. What We Did Provided a client with IT consulting services, built all user flows, the prototype, and high-fidelity design. Built microservices architecture of the solution to fully automate the business. Made an estimation on time and budget, detailed technical specifications, team configuration plan, release plan, and postproduction support plan. Developed a cross-platform solution for both Android and iOS. Developed the admin panel for staff. Implemented Testlum, no-code automated testing solution made by KnubiSoft Worked on the integration with 3rd-party apps: Stripe and MBWay for the payment processes, InvoiceXpress for the issue of invoices. Provided continuous support for the product before and after the release.
