The client is a dominant name in the medical devices industry. They offer innovative
healthcare solutions and develop medical devices like blood pressure monitors, body fat
monitors, respiratory devices, and pedometers. These devices offer a connected ecosystem
that streamlines patient monitoring even outside the clinical premises.
Project Overview
The primary requirement was to set up an offshore center with a dedicated team to help
them with their product development roadmap for remote patient monitoring. The
requirement was to build multiple mobile applications and microservices using the latest
technologies on AWS infrastructure.
Business Requirements

Building a robust and successful offshore team was one of the critical requirements. From
hiring the right developers to designers, quality analysts, business analysts, and marketing
experts, we were responsible to set up a team with skilled functionality.
Infrastructure Set Up
We were responsible for setting up the entire infrastructure that includes both hardware and
software. From procuring mobile devices to laptops/MacBooks, secure ODC with biometric
scanners and surveillance, we helped them set up the entire physical infrastructure. The
client-specific medical devices were shipped by them.
Project and Microservice Management
To develop and maintain their mobile applications and microservices using advanced
technologies and agile processes. They wanted us to manage their AWS cloud
infrastructure with a Network Operation center that ensures round the clock monitoring
and infrastructure reporting in an offshore captive model.
Secure Environment for Sensitivity and Regulations
With restricted access to workstation, biometrics and surveillance, data backup,
confidentiality of sensitive or critical information, concern was a secure environment that
works for the sensitive data while following regulatory compliance.
Solution
Following the BOM (Build, Operate and Manage) model we were the captivating offshore partner for
the client with a complete offshore development center setup and established a comprehensive
infrastructure to run the business processes. Leveraging our rich expertise and knowledge, the client
could get the right support hassle-free. From the technical IT infrastructure to the workforce, office
setup, and support, a client had complete control over everything. Here is how we helped

Set up the Physical Infrastructure
We set up a team based as per the requirements and acted as a local vendor with an office
established in Chandigarh. To maintain a higher level of security we secured the development
center with biometric scanners and surveillance and ensured agile development.
Hardware-Software Set up
We were responsible for handling the entire ecosystem that includes both the hardware and
software. From handling mobile devices, laptops, systems, and their software, we handled and
managed everything and allowed clients to focus on other crucial areas. Their medical devices
for testing were directly shipped to us!
Talent Acquisition
The project was a complex one and needed the right experts and high performers for the
execution. Our human resource team followed a highly selective process that included multiple
interview rounds to hire the right resources and expertise in the relevant field.

We successfully established an offshore development team across all functions working in
multiple agile teams. Not only did we set up a dedicated team for the client, but also set up
the entire infrastructure that includes both hardware and software, managed AWS cloud
infrastructure, mature development, testing, and maintenance processes, thereby reducing
the risk of a shaky delivery. With data backup, restricted permissions to workplace and
documents, and biometric and video surveillance we ensured security throughout.
