The app is used within pharmacies to instruct patients on how to take their medicine, allergy information and side effects. Pharmacists can assign a patient a kiosk number and send the prescription instructions to that kiosk. The app, connected to a SignalR hub, sends commands remotely to servers within the client’s network to run server check-ups, extract usage and database data and start or stop services running on the server. The Xamarin app then shows the real-time progress of each step of the remote commands. Then, if the command’s purpose is to extract data, it is returned and displayed in the mobile app. The app is for iOS phones and tablets only. Features include: Community, group, user set up, and administration. The app works with a Bluetooth pedometer to measure and collect results. The most challenging part on this project was the animation of the waves in the sea and the movement of the ferry during a page transition. The client provided the designs, so we developed the screens and connected the app to an existing API (http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/api/schedule/documentation/). The app allows users to add frequently used route schedules to their profile, so that they can quickly check times. Schedules were automatically updated using the above API. Technologies used: - Xamarin.iOS Washington State Ferries API Offline virtual tour guides TOUR ON TRIP Three apps in total: TourOnTrip Luxembourg, TourOnTrip Nice and TourOnTrip Bordeaux. A cross platform PhoneGap app, with an administrative portal for our clients. The app allows users to take virtual tours, with maps, informational pages, a photo feature and multi-language.
