Employment History BI Developer Westcon-Comstor Utrecht, Netherlands 2002 – 2018 • Developed new DW, Datamarts, ETL Procedures and implemented Business Objects which was used by all parts of the business including Operations, Finance, Sales and Marketing in a global IT distribution business generating revenue of over $3bn annually. • Provided training, documentation and support to all users of BI system. • Routinely involved in data mapping projects incorporating data into DW from companies absorbed by Westcon. • Regularly expanded BI system to fulfill increasing needs of the rapidly growing business while also ensuring system availability during periods of heavy demand. • Involved in numerous projects creating procedures to securely exchange data with large volume customers and suppliers including Cisco, Verizon, BT and Fujitsu. • Participated in Global Transformation Project replacing JD Edwards ERP system with SAP which included successfully implementing new SAP BI system, keeping legacy and new SAP BI system available in tandem, shutting down legacy system and providing training and documentation to users of new SAP BI system. Information Systems Developer Landis BV Utrecht, Netherlands 1999 – 2002 • Developed a reporting system based on Oracle database which provided everyone in the pan European company with the ability to run reports against data from the ERP system. • After Global IT Distribution company Westcon absorbed Landis I created procedures using PL/SQL to replicate data from the Landis ERP system into the Westcon DW to enable visibility of all data while the two ERP systems ran in tandem during the takeover transition period. • Offered permanent position with Westcon as BI Developer in centralised global BI department with some of my time based in Westcon central office NYC. Reporting Developer Ilion Group PLC London, England 1999 • Initially hired on temporary two week contract and offered permanent position after creating database reporting application that automated much of the existing manual Excel based processes. • After company takeover by Landis BV offered permanent position in the Netherlands in centralised European reporting department. New Connections & Construction Supplies Corodinator Thames Water Ltd London, England 1997 - 1999 • Created database application that cross referenced Thames Water records with all building applications in London – this generated more than £2m in it’s first year of operation which exceeded the target revenue by £1.5m.
